We're a growing commercial cleaning company seeking an experienced Janitor to join our team at a facility in Montvale NJ. As a Custodian, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean floors, light maintenance, windows, equipment, carpets, and restrooms, ensuring all areas are spotless and hygienic.
• *Daily Tasks*: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily in offices, kitchen, and common areas. *Restroom Maintenance*: Ensure sinks and toilets are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily, and soap and paper goods are replenished as needed.
• *Entry Areas and Halls*: Maintain clean windows, dust-free surfaces, and ensure safety protocols are in place.
• *Fresh and Clean Environment*: Ensure the building smells fresh and clean at all times.
• *Security and Emergency Response*: Close and secure the building, responding to emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning,
• Proven janitorial experience with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in cleaning for at least 2 years.
• Ability to work day/afternoon shift.
