Custodian Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial tasks, and facilities maintenance. Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure floors are well-maintained.
• Handle custodial responsibilities in both commercial and residential settings, including restroom sanitation and surface disinfection.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep.
• Operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, or carpet extraction is highly desirable.
• Background in facilities maintenance or general building upkeep is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures or residential painting can be beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established safety standards. This Custodian role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our facilities through diligent cleaning and maintenance efforts. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
