Custodian Maintenance - 1st Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian Maintenance professional to join our team on the first shift. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across our facilities. Your proactive approach to cleaning, custodial tasks, and light maintenance will ensure our spaces are welcoming and functional for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and general housekeeping of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces (breakroom and kitchen) using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct detailed floor care activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Execute janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene standards.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks supporting general facilities upkeep.
• Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, ensuring all tools are properly stored and in working order.
• Inventory and order supplies as needed to perform housekeeping duties.
• Follow safety procedures diligently and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
• Pick up and deliver parts for shipping, second operations, and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, restroom sanitation, and general surface cleaning.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or light painting is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies ensures efficient task completion.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently while following established safety guidelines.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
