Custodian Maintenance Technician

The Custodian Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing
• Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Performing minor maintenance tasks within the scope of various trades such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry
• Overseeing specific areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Interacting with other staff members to address cleaning priorities and operational concerns
• Handling staff inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness and service
• Adapting to the specific needs of different areas within the facility, which may require specialized cleaning techniques or equipment

This role is essential for creating a positive atmosphere that fosters employee and student satisfaction and confidence in Devon Preparatory School. The Custodian Maintenance Technician efforts directly contribute to the overall productivity and morale of the school.

This is a full time hourly position.

Hours will range from start times of 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. and finish of 6 p.m. or 7 p.m.

Weekends will be required as needed.
