Custodian & Organizer - FAST PACED/PATIENCE REQUIRED

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on both industrial and commercial cleaning standards.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and stripping to ensure high-quality floor maintenance.
• Conduct thorough custodial duties, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are stocked and in good condition.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, demonstrating flexibility in managing priorities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Take the initiative to complete tasks in a timely manor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with floor care methods such as buffing, stripping, and waxing is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
