Custodian-part time

The Peninsula Airport Commission is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team to work Tuesday - Saturday 4:00pm - 8:00pm. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

```Responsibilities```

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors

- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms

- Perform floor care duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and buffing

- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel

- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

- Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred

- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners

- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

- Strong time management skills to prioritize work effectively

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Good communication skills to interact with staff and visitors
