JOB SUMMARY: The part-time Custodian is a responsible, organized, and reliable
person who manages the complete daily cleaning of the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation
Center, including locker rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and classrooms. This position will
also oversee room rentals including but not limited to the set up and break down of
program rooms as well as open and close the facility and the Fitness Center Pool as needed.

LOCATION: Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St, Tinley Park

QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified individual should be able to communicate clearly and effectively, with a minimum of a high school diploma, and preferably six months experience in a cleaning environment. Additionally, this candidate must understand, operate, and maintain cleaning equipment to create a clean and sanitary environment at the Recreation Center. Current CPR certification or ability to gain CPR certification is required.

INCENTIVES: This is a year-round, part-time evening and weekend position with the ability to cross train for all shifts and occasionally sub during the week. Scheduling may range from 15-18 hours/week. Pay rate begins at $15.50 per hour and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center, Recreation Center, Water Park, and Dog Park.
