Custodian/Janitor

Role and Responsibilities

Clean and Care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained according to contractual standards:

· Clean Offices/Meeting Rooms/all accessible spaces

· Mop/vacuum/dust/sweep

· Clean restrooms/mirrors/refill all products

· Remove garbage and or recycling as required by the contract

· Clean kitchens/sinks/countertops/outside of appliance and or additional cleaning as required

· General cleaning and disinfecting not listed otherwise

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Secure Storage Areas

2. Ensure Cleaning Materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner

3. Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies

4. Report all safety violations and or improper usage of company property

5. Restock materials and supplies

6. Make a note and or notify the supervisor of equipment repairs and or replacement as needed

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand/walk/lift/ operate equipment/and or stoop/bend/ and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must have a valid driver's license and working cell phone.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
