Position Overview

As a Custom Cabinet Designer, you will work directly with customers to design custom cabinetry solutions that meet their needs, style preferences, and budget. You will collaborate with our team throughout the design, estimating, production, and installation processes to ensure an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand their needs, goals, and project requirements
• Design custom cabinetry layouts and solutions for residential and commercial projects
• Create and revise drawings, renderings, and design concepts using design software
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
• Assist customers in selecting cabinet styles, finishes, hardware, and design features
• Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and project success
• Maintain organized project documentation and records
• Continuously learn about cabinetry products, construction methods, and industry trends
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle

Qualifications

Required

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with cabinet design, interior design, drafting, architecture, or related fields
• Experience using design software
• Experience with Mozaik software
• Understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and cabinet types
• Knowledge of residential construction methods and building processes
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
