You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems tailored specifically for custom home environments. Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems in custom residential homes, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute project plans.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks, fixture installations, and system upgrades.
• Work with low voltage systems, including security alarms, home automation, and lighting controls.
• Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry and renovation projects to integrate electrical components seamlessly.
• Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

• Proven experience as an electrician in residential construction, renovation, or custom home projects.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC standards and electrical codes applicable to residential wiring.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems is a plus.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic troubleshooting.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics for complex wiring systems.
• Construction site experience with framing carpentry and general handyman skills enhances project versatility.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems relevant to residential applications is advantageous.
