Custom Imaging Specialist

The Custom Imaging Specialist will be part of a team that is responsible for the production of our high-quality custom imaging services including: large format fine art printing, film and flatbed scanning, mounting/finishing, canvas stretching and customer service.

The right candidate will have a demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop CC, and the ability to color correct, retouch and prepare digital files for output. MUST be able to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment, have a strong work ethic, positive professional attitude and possess exceptional customer service skills.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Large Format / Fine Art print production.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
• Mac OSX experience.
• Microsoft Office experience
• Extensive photographic and digital imaging knowledge obtained through work experience, schooling, or certification.
• Skilled in flatbed/film scanning and digital photographic retouching.
• Extensive working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CC.
• A firm understanding of color theory and resolution.
• Must be organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage files.
• Must be able to meet daily deadlines, as well as long term goals under pressure of quantity while maintaining quality.
• Must be able to work efficiently on your own, as well as in a team atmosphere.
• Must maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Must be able to work weekends and special events if necessary.
• Desire to grow within the position
• Any other duties required

Reporting Relationship

• Reports to the Custom Imaging Manager

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of a high school or equivalent degree.
• Specialized classes or formal education in Photoshop

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to stretch canvas
• Ability to conduct computer production for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Must be physically capable of moving, lifting, pulling or pushing 25 lbs. several.
