Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize custom PHP applications, Laravel projects, and WordPress backends.
• Work with databases (MySQL, etc.) to design, manage, and optimize queries.
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs and build custom APIs when required.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Ensure backend performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with Custom PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar).
• Solid understanding of MySQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, or frontend frameworks.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
