Job Description
Under the direction, and with the support of the Sales Service Manager provide outstanding customer service and inside sales as required to maintain and enhance current business. Respond to customers, outside sales representatives and internal departments which include the following duties:
Manage and process all communications from customers and sales personnel, (order status, inventory levels, delivery tracking information, order changes, cancellations, and pricing). Analyze requests and process accordingly to the appropriate personnel and relay information back to customers and/or sales personnel.
- Process orders, blankets and releases to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain customer inventory to meet demand.
- Coordinate shipments and delivery schedules.
- Review and perform immediate short term corrective action in response to customer issues/complaints, by clarifying the complaint, determining the cause of the issue, and involving the appropriate personnel.
- Work with other departments to provide proactive service to meet customer requirements by thinking 10 steps ahead.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact customer needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in Customer and Sales Service, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of MS office programs such as Word, excel and Contact Management programs.
- Excellent math skills and high accuracy.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with others as well as independently.
- Ability to logically organize and accurately document activities.
- Strong analytical/data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week.
