Customer Care Plumber / Heat Pump Commissioning Engineer

Swift Heating Solutions are a leading heating and renewables specialist, installing air source heat pumps, boilers, underfloor heating and air conditioning systems across Dorset and the South. We pride ourselves on delivering high-end installations and excellent customer service.

We’re now looking for a Customer Care Plumber / Commissioning Engineer to join our team — someone who enjoys fault-finding, commissioning, and ensuring systems perform exactly as designed.

The Role

• Commission and hand over Air Source Heat Pump systems (Daikin, Midea )
• Carry out post-installation visits, heat pump servicing, and minor plumbing rectification works
• Support customers with aftercare, ensuring each system runs efficiently and quietly
• Record commissioning data and complete customer handover documentation
• Liaise with the office team and provide feedback on installation quality and performance
• Support engineers on site with technical guidance and best practices

The Person

• Fully qualified plumber with NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
• F-Gas, Unvented (G3), and WRAS certifications desirable
• Experience with Air Source Heat Pumps (installation, commissioning, or servicing)
• Good understanding of system hydraulics and low-temperature heating design
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Clean driving licence
