Job Title: Customer Care Specialist (with Pharmacy Technician Support) — Retail Pharmacy
Location: Manchester, TN
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (25–40 hours/week)
Role Split: ~70% Customer Service / ~30% Pharmacy Technician Support

Schedule / Hours

• Mon–Fri: 9:00am–6:00pm
• Sat: 9:00am–1:00pm (Closed Sunday)
• Team members typically work 8:30am until ~15–20 minutes after close
• Saturday rotation: typically less than one Saturday per month

Responsibilities (Customer Care – ~70%)

• Front counter and drive-thru customer service in a retail pharmacy
• Triage patient needs and guide them to the right next step (clear handoffs to pharmacy team)
• Help patients get “checkout ready” at the register (organized, informed, prepared)
• Will-call organization and smooth pickup experience
• Intake forms, outbound calls, simple follow-ups, and basic issue resolution

Responsibilities (Pharmacy Technician Support – ~30%)

• Prescription filling support (accuracy-first)
• Assist with workflow tasks as needed to keep patients moving forward

Requirements

• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration required (can be obtained upon hire; we’ll walk you through it—fingerprints + background check)
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism with the public, and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Focused at work (low distraction expected)
• Adaptable, team-oriented, willing to cross-train
