Role Objectives

To ensure seamless end-to-end order lifecycle management—from order receipt to final dispatch—by coordinating with sales, design, production, quality, and logistics teams, ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and customer satisfaction while maintaining production planning discipline and traceability of gold inventory.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models for gold jewellery including rings, earrings, necklaces, bangles, and custom pieces.
  • Receive and validate customer orders (B2B, Export, Custom Orders).
  • Create order entries in ERP/system with accurate product specifications, weight, purity, and delivery timelines.
  • Liaise with Production Planning to schedule orders based on capacity and deadlines.
  • Issue work orders to manufacturing units (Casting, CNC, Handmade, Setting, Polishing, etc.).
  • Track order-wise metal allocation and ensure accountability of gold issued.
  • Work closely with CAD/Design Team for approvals, modifications, and customer-specific customization.
  • Ensure design freeze before releasing orders to manufacturing.
  • Monitor real-time status of orders across departments.
  • Identify bottlenecks and escalate delays proactively.
  • Maintain daily order status reports and production dashboards.
  • Coordinate with Stores for gold issue, balance reconciliation, and material movement tracking.
  • Ensure order-wise metal consumption visibility and minimize variance.
  • Align with QA team for timely inspection and certification.
  • Ensure order completion meets required quality standards and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch/Logistics for shipment planning.
  • Prepare order-wise documentation (tagging details, weight summary, invoices support).
  • Ensure adherence to promised delivery timelines.
  • Maintain order lifecycle MIS reports, TAT tracking, and delay analysis.
  • Generate weekly production vs. order fulfilment reports for management review.
  • Ensure SOP adherence in order handling to avoid rework, gold loss risk, or miscommunication.
  • Support audit requirements related to metal tracking and order traceability.

Minimum Qualification

· Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Operations / Any relevant discipline.

Desired Qualification

· Diploma / Certification in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, or Operations.

· Exposure to Jewellery Manufacturing Processes will be an added advantage.

· ERP training (SAP / Oracle / Jewellery-specific software like JIL, EMR, etc.) preferred.

Experience

· 2–5 years of experience in Order Management / Production Coordination / Operations.

· Experience in Jewellery Manufacturing, Precious Metal Industry, or Batch Production Environment preferred.

Mandatory Skills

· Strong understanding of production workflow and order lifecycle tracking.

· Hands-on experience in ERP/MIS systems for order processing.

· Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing stages (Casting → Filing → Setting → Polishing → QC)

· Excellent planning, coordination, and follow-up ability.

· Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously with accuracy.

· High attention to detail (critical in gold weight & specifications). Strong communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.

· Problem-solving attitude with sense of ownership and urgency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
