CUSTOMER PAYMENT SUPERVISOR

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Pay Range: $59,051.20 – $82,638.40

Location: Greenwood, SC; remote work is not available for this position.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday; 8:00am – 12:00pm Friday

Job Summary: The Customer Payments Supervisor oversees daily customer payment operations, ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments, proper billing of non-pay fees, and efficient office support services. This role supervises staff, provides training and guidance, supports switchboard operations, and promotes high-quality customer service with professionalism and integrity. The position also recommends process improvements, applies departmental policies and procedures, and maintains confidentiality in handling customer accounts and personnel matters. All managers/supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe and productive work environment. All managers/supervisors are responsible for ensuring employees are properly trained and play a key role in developing all individuals on their team to their full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Requires an associate’s degree in management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by one year of progressively responsible supervisory and technical experience in utility cashiering and/or customer service. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
