Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer quality requirements, ensuring product quality compliance, and driving resolution of customer-reported issues within an electronics manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring that quality expectations are met while continuously improving processes and product reliability.
Candidates must have experience in electronics or server manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related issues and inquiries
- Analyze customer requirements and ensure alignment with internal quality processes
- Lead customer complaint handling, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, suppliers) to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant ISO standards
- Plan and support internal and external audits, including customer audits
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to prevent quality issues
- Analyze quality data, track KPIs, and provide reports to internal stakeholders and customers
- Support development and maintenance of quality procedures and documentation
- Provide training and guidance on quality standards and customer requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in customer quality or quality engineering within electronics or server manufacturing
- Hands-on experience handling customer complaints and quality issue resolution
- Strong experience in root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with KPI tracking and quality performance improvement
- Experience supporting or participating in customer audits preferred
- Strong communication skills, especially in customer-facing situations
Quality Systems & Compliance (Preferred)
Familiarity with the following standards and practices is preferred:
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001
- IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 (automotive-related standards)
- CGMP or ISO 13485 (if applicable)
- Risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks

- Bilingual Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese language with global stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
