Growing Oxygen/Respiratory Service company with headquarters in Wallingford, is looking for Customer Relationships and Collection Manager.
As an assistant to Revenue Cycle Manager, this individual will serve as the point person for Customer relationships and Customer correspondence relating to contract and billing questions.
In addition, this individual with work with Company Managers to meet customer needs. This may include special reports, billing questions and billing resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing and Billing Operations: Support Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices, credit memos, and statements.
- Collection Strategy: Work with collection specialist to develop and implement strategies to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and collect delinquent debts.
- Collection Contact for Large Customers and Groups
- Dispute Resolution: Handle escalated customer complaints, billing discrepancies, and negotiate payment plans.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare all customer and special requested reports.
- Process Improvement: Work with Revenue Cycle Manager to Streamline accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Large Customer and Special Invoices: Complete month end invoices and serve as Customer Liaison
- Manage customer Service department
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with financial regulations and industry-specific standards (e.g., HIPAA in healthcare).
Experience and Skills
- The ideal candidate for this position will have a Minimum 3 years of corporate collections and accounts receivable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or process oversight experience in collections or accounts receivable preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable management, collections strategies, and billing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify trends and implement solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also supporting cross-functional collaboration.
