Coastal Connections is a sales and business development firm working with home improvement clients and retail partners in Stamford and the surrounding areas. Our team members discuss applicable service and product solutions with new customers looking for assistance with their home improvement projects. By working directly with the consumer base within retail locations, we are able to ensure that all bases are covered and customers are provided with a cohesive sales experience.

As a Retail Customer Representative, you’ll support customers in-store and help them understand home improvement products, installation options, and service plans. This role is excellent for individuals who enjoy offering guidance and creating positive in-store experiences.

Retail Customer Representative Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist homeowners with service and product selection by understanding their needs and providing expert advice to enhance their project outcomes.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a retail setting, providing clear and helpful guidance on home improvement products and services.
  • Process orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and seamless customer experiences.
  • Track and resolve customer complaints, concerns, or issues promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Collaborate with sales and field teams to coordinate project timelines and follow-ups, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Document interactions and maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems to support continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell products or additional services that benefit the customer and increase revenue.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, contribute to service improvements, and meet collective performance goals.

Retail Customer Representative Qualifications:

Compensation & Job Details:

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Earnings: Commission Based**On average, representatives earn between $50,000-$60,000/year.
  • Schedule: Monday-Saturday (Approx. 40-50 hrs/week)
  • Job Locations: Main office location and retail store locations in Stamford, Bridgeport, Milford, White Plains and surrounding areas as assigned.

Clients & Products: Promote Home Improvement services including renovations and remodeling, design services, product and appliance upgrades and installation, and other home enhancements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
