Customer Service job description in a cake shop:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Handle customer inquiries about products, ingredients, customization, and pricing.

• Take and process cake and pastry orders (in-person, phone, or online).

• Manage order details accurately, including special requests and delivery/pick-up times.

• Handle complaints or issues with patience and provide appropriate solutions.

• Maintain product knowledge to upsell or suggest complementary items.

• Ensure the shop’s front area is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked.

• Collaborate with bakers and decorators to confirm order accuracy.

• Process payments (cash, card, or digital methods) and manage receipts.

• Assist with packaging cakes and pastries for safe transport.

• Keep track of customer feedback and report recurring issues to management.

• Support with basic administrative tasks such as updating order logs or schedules.
