Customer Service & Account Manager

Second Skin Audio — Charlotte, NC | Full-time | $60,000–$68,000 + quarterly profit sharing

Second Skin Audio is a growing e-commerce company that manufactures and sells soundproofing and acoustic products, most of them made in the USA. We're a small team of 6 based in Charlotte, and we run more like a tech startup than a typical customer service operation with modern tools, fast decisions, and no bureaucracy.

We're hiring an experienced person to own customer service and manage our B2B accounts. This is not an entry-level role. You'll be the point person for our customers and our B2B program, working directly with the CEO.

What you'll do

Own customer service. You're responsible for the customer experience across phone, chat, and email — answering questions, solving problems, and improving our processes and tools as we grow.

Sell the way we sell.Customers come to us for soundproofing help. We give expert consultations and product recommendations at no charge, then sell the materials via quote. No cold calling. These are inbound leads from people who already want our help. You'll learn our product line and become one of our experts.

Run our B2B program. Manage relationships with our existing dealer, installer, and distributor accounts, and help grow the program by bringing on new ones.

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years in customer service, inside sales, or account management
• Comfortable learning a technical product line (soundproofing, building materials, or automotive experience is a plus, not required)
• Strong writer (clear, concise, professional)
• Detail-oriented and organized; you'll juggle a lot
• Experience with CRM and support tools (we use Shopify, Gorgias, Aircall, and Pipedrive)
