Job description

Job Summary

  • Handling consumer inquiries regarding personal and commercial debt matters, providing solutions and explanations as required, processing payments, all in a call center environment.

General Duties

  • Inform consumers on the account status, negotiate settlement options
  • Handle complaints and disputes in a timely manner using set processes and protocols.
  • Provide effective customer service in all contacts with consumers and their representatives.
  • Identify and prioritize issues for appropriate service areas.
  • Use active listening and de-escalation skills as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all consumer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. Requires ability to type and talk at the same time.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience or business/legal education

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Critical thinking
  • Active listening/Negotiation Skills
  • Spanish speaking a plus

Full training is provided

Bonuses paid monthly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
