Customer Service Accounting (Trucking & Logistics)

We are not a typical logistics company—our team operates as a Command Center, ensuring every load moves efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service and driving growth.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics to manage shipments from pickup to delivery while providing proactive communication and problem-solving.

This role is critical to our operations—serving as the link between customers, dispatch, carriers, and drivers.

Duties

Load Management & Tracking

  • Manage shipments from dispatch to delivery
  • Track & trace loads using TMS systems
  • Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
  • Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and carriers

Customer Communication

  • Provide real-time updates to customers
  • Respond to emails and calls within 15 minutes
  • Build strong relationships with customer contacts
  • Handle high-volume communication professionally

Problem Solving / Exception Management

  • Resolve issues such as delays, missed appointments, or service failures
  • Communicate solutions quickly and effectively

Operations Coordination

  • Work with internal teams to prioritize:
  • Asset-based freight (CCXpress)
  • Brokerage freight (CCXchange)
  • Ensure smooth execution across both divisions

Data Entry & Systems

  • Maintain accurate shipment details in TMS
  • Upload and manage documentation (BOLs, PODs, etc.)
  • Support reporting and service tracking
  • Take ownership of problems until resolved
  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in:
  • Transportation / Trucking / Logistics (required)
  • Customer Service in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with TMS systems (Load Stop, DAT, Motive, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communicator with a sense of urgency
  • Problem-solver who takes ownership
  • Detail-oriented with high accountability
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment

Pay: $23.15 - $25.10 per hour
