We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Administration Assistant to join our busy window treatment and upholstery workroom. This position is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our clients—ranging from interior designers to commercial accounts and residential customers.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage inbound calls from clients, vendors, and partners in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as primary point of contact for interior designers, commercial clients, and homeowners.
- Prepare accurate project estimates based on client specifications.
- Receive, record, and process payments securely and efficiently.
- Set up new projects for production, ensuring all required details and documents are complete.
- Coordinate schedules for delivery and installation with production teams and installers.
- Track ongoing projects to ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Maintain organized client records, communications, and schedules in company systems.
- Assist management with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Competence in using basic office software (Microsoft Office, email, and scheduling tools).
- Experience in customer service or administrative coordination preferred; industry training will be provided for the right candidate.
