Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator who will provide essential support to the Manufacturing and Operations teams by managing key documentation, assisting with work order processing, and supporting purchasing activities. This role ensures that manufacturing work orders are released and closed accurately, work instructions are created and maintained, and purchasing requests are completed in a timely and organized manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
We are looking for a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Jefferson, Ohio. This is an in-person role, Monday–Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:

Product management – navigate Prelude to audit and edit part numbers, burden codes, and BOMs

Enter OTWM receiving for incoming parts and be able to edit and issue purchase orders

Communicate with vendors to fulfill open PO’s, handle over shipments and issues with receiving

Receive and enter SMC shipments into Prelude

Keep log of open orders/receipts and match with invoice, approve, and send to accounts payable

Issues out plant work orders to vendors for assembly, painting, and cut projects

Order office supplies and safety supplies for office and warehouse

Lead weekly cycle counts, making inventory adjustments

Manage/schedule yearly maintenance on forklifts and building systems

Issue and track PO’s for noninventory items

Track and balance credit card charges

Assist with booking shipments, quoting, and tracking issues with carriers.

Support customer service with order processing, handling customer inquiries, and providing status updates and lead times.

Requirements and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

Up to 1-year prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or administrative environment preferred.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Ability to learn and effectively use ERP/MRP systems (experience is a plus).

Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Position requires movement throughout the manufacturing facility, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions including moderate noise levels and proximity to moving machinery. Safety protocols and appropriate PPE must be followed at all times.
