Pay: $24.84 to $27.63 per hour, based on qualifications
Customer Service Assistants play an important role in ensuring that a company’s customers are satisfied and happy. They are often the first point of contact for customers and act as a valuable interface between a company and its client base. This role will report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring order accuracy while providing excellent customer service located within Supply Chain and serving internal and external customers in a high pace environment.
What you’ll do:
- Accurate and timely entry of orders received from the Sales team or External Customers.
- Manage order status inquiries, service delivery inquiries and adjusting orders based on available products.
- Execute transactional orders on behalf of our customers if EDI is not available.
- Price verification and invoicing.
- Ensuring proper documentation is sent to customers (ie: order/pricing acknowledgements)
- Working cross functionally with the Marketing, Production, Sales, Accounts Receivable and Traffic teams to provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
- High School required
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of 2 years in a similar position may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office products.
- Oracle user preferred.
- This role requires our employee to be onsite for the first 90 days to ensure proper onboarding and training and will then move to a Hybrid schedule. Office days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Work from home days are Thursdays and Fridays.

- Ability to work independently and utilize initiative and good judgment to help solve complex issues in a dynamic, non-routine environment.
