Customer Service Associate

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in assisting customers with their orders, resolving customer complaints, responding to information inquiries, and supporting receiving and inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, great customer service and a self starter. Key Responsibilities

• Receipt and entry of customer email, fax and phone orders. Ensures orders and issues are processed or resolved within a timely manner.
• Resolves customers' complaints and concerns. Provides product information and company policy on payment, logistics and other inquiries. Responds to customer concerns on behalf of other departments and executives.
• Collaborates and communicates with appropriate management to expedite resolution of safety and security complaints and concerns.
• Receives and processes purchase orders, reconciles inventory discrepancies
• Assist with logistics coordination, including freight scheduling, carrier communication, and delivery documentation.
• Support operational projects such as process improvements, system updates, and compliance initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to leadership, including reporting and scheduling.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in customer service within a retail, food service call or customer contact center environment
• Understanding of purchase orders, receiving processes, and inventory workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with warehouse, purchasing, and leadership teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred

• Experience in wholesale distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
