The Role

We're hiring a Customer Service Associate / Cashier who enjoys connecting with people and has a genuine interest in wine and spirits. You'll be working in a busy, customer-focused environment where product knowledge and friendly service matter. In this role, you'll assist customers with their selections, provide recommendations, and handle transactions efficiently. If you like helping people discover the perfect bottle and making their shopping experience memorable, this might be a fit.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers warmly and help them find what they're looking for
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine and spirits based on preferences, occasions, and food pairings
• Educate customers about different varietals, regions, flavor profiles, and price points
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
• Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
• Stock shelves and maintain appealing, well-organized product displays
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
• Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support
• Stay informed about new products, seasonal offerings, and industry trends

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience or demonstrated interest in wine and spirits preferred
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Previous retail experience preferred, especially in wine, spirits, or liquor store environments
