Customer Service Bakery Associate- Closing Position

Job Title:Store and Bakery Associate - Closer : Wednesday-Saturday 12-6pm

Job Summary:Cake Fetish is searching for a skilled store and bakery associate to provide excellent customer service in an efficient, professional manner. You will also greet and help customers, answer phones, clean the lobby and bathrooms, and perform other job duties to ensure that customers needs are satisfied and the bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly. The associate will assist in preparing buttercreams/other items needed for production.

Responsibilities:

• Helping customers, taking orders, answering phones, ensuring the lobby and bathrooms stay clean, assist with dishes,
• Decorate back-stock cupcakes for pastry case
• Assist with any restocking or making of product needed for the next day
• Close the bakery and lobby including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dishes, and putting away remaining products
• Be able to use a cash register with accuracy
• Keep a clean work station
• Ensure that all products meet the highest quality, freshness, and food safety standards
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work
• You will assist with cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas, tools, and equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service
• Ability to ice a cupcake a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to follow a recipe
• A passion for baked goods and a willingness to learn

Job Type:Part-time – Must have Saturday availability
