Job Overview

Spendid Farms is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Clerk to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Alabama and New York, United States. Spendid Farms is a trusted leader in the agri-food industry, providing valuable services in exportation, commercialisation, packaging, logistics, and agricultural production. As a Customer Service Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by delivering outstanding support and ensuring customer satisfaction. The offered salary for this role is between $25 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
* Professionally handle and resolve customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
* Process customer orders, prepare correspondence, and fulfil customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
* Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
* Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
* Liaise with internal departments such as logistics and sales to coordinate customer service efforts.
* Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain a high standard of service.
* Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
* Strong active listening, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience within the agriculture, logistics, or food production industry is highly desirable but not essential.
* A genuine desire to provide the best possible service to our customers.
