The Courts Department is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Clerk. This entry-level position plays a critical role in supporting case management and delivering high-quality customer service via multiple platforms, including in-person assistance and through the Call Center. This role operates under established departmental policies and the direction of leadership.
Position Duties:

Maintain responsibility for ensuring customer service is a high priority and that customers are treated with empathy and professionalism at all times

Perform all functions related to the assigned case tracks

Perform financial functions across all applicable platforms to include the accepting of cash, displaying a high degree of accuracy

Prepare documents for scanning to case management system

Determine indigent prerequisites
-
Perform service processes
-
Issue subpoenas
-
Perform data entry functions in case management system
-
Process records requests via Court Records Inquiry (CRI)
-
Assist with jury customers via the Call Center
-
Prioritize workload to be able to meet time standards set by leadership

Prepare documents and Orders as required for scanning to court systems

Prepare payment arrangements in accordance with our payment compliance policy

Schedule hearings

Process incoming mail as assigned
