Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour + Consistent Overtime
Hours: Full-Time | Monday – Friday |7am - 5pm | Occasional Saturdays 7am-12pm
Position Summary
The Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator is a critical front-line role responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while maximizing technician efficiency and daily revenue. You will manage inbound/outbound communications, optimize technician routing, and handle essential office administration to ensure smooth, profitable operations.
Core Responsibilities
1. Customer Experience & Sales Support
- Call Management: Answer inbound service and sales calls with professionalism; convert inquiries into booked appointments.
- Showroom Support: Greet and assist customers who visit our local showroom.
- Revenue Growth: Educate customers on service offerings, maintenance plans, and financing options; follow up on unsold estimates.
2. Scheduling & Dispatch Coordination
- Strategic Routing: Schedule service calls to maximize technician productivity and reduce "windshield time."
- Logistics: Assign jobs based on technician skill set and geography; monitor progress throughout the day and adjust routes as needed.
- Communication: Provide clear schedule updates to both technicians and customers.
3. Office Administration & Accounting
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM system.
- Financial Tasks: Check invoices, process customer payments, and assist with basic accounting workflows.
- Records Management: Handle essential office tasks including scanning, copying, and filing to maintain an organized workspace.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience (Home Services or Construction industry preferred).
- Technical Skills: Intermediate computer proficiency; experience with CRM or Field Service software (e.g., NetSuite, Jobber) and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
- Multi-tasking: Proven ability to prioritize high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Clear, confident, and professional verbal and written skills.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
