Customer Service Dispatcher

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate work related operations within our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient smooth transitions of phone calls from us to the companies on call person. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where strong analysis, communication, and technical skills are essential for success. We are looking to fill 2 different shifts 3pm-11pm and also our 11pm-7am shift.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls in a polite and professional manner
• Utilize computer dispatch system
• Manage dispatching activities for calls in a timely manner
• Maintain effective communication with on call personal at various different companies
• Use analysis skills to troubleshoot issues and improve dispatching workflows
• Ensure accurate data entry into OnviCall Operator and other relevant systems for seamless operations

Skills

• Computer skill a plus but not needed as we can train
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent analysis skills for problem-solving and process improvement
• Effective dispatching experience a plus but not needed as we can train
• Superior communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal/written correspondence
• Typing proficiency for efficient data entry
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems for managing high call volumes

This role is integral to maintaining smooth transportation operations while providing opportunities for professional growth within the logistics sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical expertise combined with strong organizational abilities to excel in this fast-paced environment.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
