Arrow Wrecker Service is a growing and dynamic towing and recovery company located in Wichita, Kansas. We serve both local and national clients with a variety of towing and recovery services.

Job Description:

Arrow Wrecker Service is hiring for multiple dispatching shifts. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, with the potential of working Saturdays or Sundays. We service the entire Wichita and surrounding area. We are staffed 24/7. As a dispatcher you are the first person to represent the company and set the customer's expectation. We are in the business of helping people and are looking for people that like to help others too. We provide services for insurance companies, body shops, repair shops, auto dealers, law enforcement, and the general public. We are looking for a responsible individual to receive incoming requests for vehicle towing and recovery, moving commercial machinery, and to service law enforcement agencies and local businesses. You will assign and dispatch calls to tow truck drivers. Good customer service, great communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask.

Job Duties:

Hours: Daytime Dispatcher

• Dispatches and tracks drivers
• Balances workloads
• Assigns correct vehicle and driver to the needs of the call
• Data entry
• Process paperwork
• Receive payments
• Release vehicles

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task
• Excellent attendance record and reliable transportation
• Ability to talk to both drivers and customers in a calm, professional manner
• Must have the ability to work independently and maintain productivity
• Problem-solving skills
• Must have a good geographic knowledge of our coverage areas
• Must have computer skills: Internet, Email communication, Mapping and GPS Tracker software, and DOT Compliance knowledge a plus.
