Dunrite Chimney and Stove is a leading fireplace and chimney company in Centereach NY where we sell, install and service the industry's top brands of wood, gas, and pellet stoves and inserts.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Customer Service Dispatcher for Showroom Sales to join our team! In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage customer interactions, schedule showroom appointments, and ensure seamless communication between clients, sales teams, and logistics. Your energetic approach will help deliver exceptional service experiences, streamline operations, and support the overall success of our showroom. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of customer engagement and logistics coordination, ensuring every customer receives prompt, professional assistance while maintaining efficient dispatching workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for showroom customers via multi-line phone systems, providing friendly and professional assistance with inquiries and scheduling appointments.
• Coordinate with sales teams to schedule showroom visits, In person product demonstrations, and follow-up appointments efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, freight status updates, and customer interactions to support analysis skills and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle complex customer requests with clarity and professionalism.

Skills

• Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, multi-line phone systems, and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Effective communication skills combined with courteous phone etiquette to foster positive customer relationships.
• Proficient and skilled at adapting and navigating field service software to schedule, dispatch and document heart product installations, as well as optimize service technician's routes geographically.
• Essential, fully paid, comprehensive product and sales training is provided to ensure long term success. Must be motivated and willing to learn if new to the hearth industry.
• Punctual, reliable, and ready to work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
