Customer service- dispatching and scheduling



We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dispatcher to serve as the primary communication link between our drivers, and clients. You will receive incoming requests, plan efficient schedules to ensure on-time service and optimal customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call Management: Receive calls, assess needs, and quickly transmit messages to the appropriate staff.
  • Scheduling: Schedule efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring: Ensure drivers stay on schedule and monitor for any possible delays.
  • Communication: Maintain clear, continuous email and phone contact with staff and provide updates to clients regarding arrival times as needed
  • Problem Solving: Act decisively to resolve scheduling conflicts, breakdowns, or drop-off/pick-up issues in real time.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs or records inside open dock database.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Technology: Proficiency with computer software, including basic office applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite, professional phone manner.
  • Composure: Proven ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
