Customer Service Executive
You will coordinate and handle all ocean/air freight shipments to the satisfaction of local customers and overseas partners.
Your responsibilities:
- Coordination and handling of shipments from door-to-door
- Preparation of transport documentation and quotations for customer
- Maintain a high data quality in transport and tracking system
- Involvement in rate negotiations with carriers and subcontracts
- Monitor file profitability and take actions to improve gross profit per job
- Create or trigger reports for key customers
- Ensure claims are handled properly and in line with company rules
- Support accounting with dunning process
- Foster company image and support continuous improvement actions
Job requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding industry with focus on UAE Market
- Written and verbal communication skills English
- Capable to work independently as well as within teams
- Professional appearance, friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
