The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator is pivotal in managing the coordination of freight forwarding operations and ensuring high-quality customer service. This role involves facilitating the seamless movement of goods, addressing customer inquiries, and working closely with internal and external partners to optimize logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Freight Coordination:
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods from origin to destination.
- Arrange freight services (air, sea, and land) and negotiate rates with carriers and agents.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, etc.).
Customer Service:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status and inquiries.
- Provide timely updates and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate shipment records and reports.
- Support billing and invoicing processes as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in logistics or freight forwarding preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of freight operations (air, sea, and land).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
