Customer Service Executive- Logistics

The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator is pivotal in managing the coordination of freight forwarding operations and ensuring high-quality customer service. This role involves facilitating the seamless movement of goods, addressing customer inquiries, and working closely with internal and external partners to optimize logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Freight Coordination:

• Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods from origin to destination.

• Arrange freight services (air, sea, and land) and negotiate rates with carriers & agents

• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.

Customer Service:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipment status and handling inquiries.

• Address and resolve customer issues, including delays, damages, and other logistics-related problems.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Prepare and process necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork

• Ensure all documentation complies with local and international regulations.

• Keep accurate records of all shipments and communications.

• Logistics Optimization:

• Analyze and optimize freight forwarding processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline operations.

• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations to enhance service delivery.

• Communication and Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, agent, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure coordinated efforts.

• Communicate effectively with overseas agents, carriers, and service providers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
