Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Transportation

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing transportation team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, scheduling, and service inquiries
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations team to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to customers
• Resolve customer concerns and provide timely, effective solutions
• Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in TMS
• Assist with appointment scheduling, documentation, forecasting and billing support as needed
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
• Support other teams for effective work flow

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in transportation and logistics
• Strong communication skills (phone, email, and interpersonal)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with TMS systems is a plus
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in drayage, trucking, or freight brokerage
• Familiarity with ports, rail, or intermodal operations
