Job Overview
We’re a busy and growing appliance repair company known for reliable service and great communication. We’re looking for an experienced Customer Service/Dispatcher to join our team as an independent contractor. This role focuses on keeping our customers informed, managing the schedule, and supporting technicians in the field.
This is a 1099 contractor position. No benefits are offered
Responsibilities
- Answer and return customer calls, emails, and text messages in a professional and friendly manner.
- Communicate with customers to confirm, reschedule, or update service appointments.
- Coordinate with technicians to assign jobs and manage daily routes efficiently.
- Keep the team informed of scheduling changes, parts delays, and urgent service needs.
- Track jobs and service updates through our internal systems.
- Provide excellent customer service while managing a high volume of communication.
Required Experience
- ServicePower – required for managing warranty jobs and scheduling.
- Housecall Pro – required for customer communication, job tracking, and dispatching.
- Knowledge of Marcone – a plus for handling parts orders and tracking.
- Prior experience in customer service, dispatching, or coordination (preferably in appliance repair, HVAC, appliance repair or home services).

Compensation
- 1099 Contract Position
- Pay: $125 to start during train period
- No benefits provided.
Schedule
- Full-time preferred (Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays).
