Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator

Our company seeks an enthusiastic detail oriented and hardworking person ready to join our team as a full-time Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator at our Western NY location, where we have been operating since 2018. The office extension is currently under construction and due to be completed by the end of summer.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Arrange logistics for outbound customer orders
· Verify shipped order compliance with customer purchase order and forward to accounting for invoicing
· Generate shipping documents including BOL and Sales Contract
· Work closely with delivery companies to maintain efficient delivery windows and monitor execution daily
· Monitor the entire process of product movement
· Knowledgeable with working with LOT/Batch Numbers and Expiry Date
· Familiar with the FIFO rule (First in First out)
· Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and appropriate escalation of orders.
· Ability to manage a high volume of emails on a diverse set of topics.
· Analyze efficiency of current trade lanes and modes of transportation to increase profitability
· Working with different departments internally to align goals and strategies

Education & Experience
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain. Domestics transportation or in a relative field
· Knowledge/experience in Logistics, Scheduling, considered an asset
· Experience in/knowledge of dairy, agriculture, commodities is preferred
· A team player, comfortable with ambiguity and deadline pressures
· Previous experience within customer service and/or logistics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
