PACE Technologies is seeking a Customer Service & Order Entry Assistant to support our front-office operations. This role is responsible for managing customer communications and entering orders accurately into our system. The position plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive timely responses and that orders are processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Order Entry
- Enter customer orders accurately into the company ERP system
- Verify pricing, quantities, and shipping information
- Generate and send order confirmations to customers
- Coordinate order processing with the warehouse and production teams
- Maintain accurate records of orders and customer information
Customer Communication
- Answer inbound phone calls and respond to customer emails
- Provide order status updates and shipping information
- Assist customers with navigating product offerings and catalog information
- Route technical or application-related questions to the appropriate sales representative or engineer
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized customer communication records
- Assist with documentation and internal coordination between departments
- Support general front-office operations as needed
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of customer service, administrative, or office support experience
- Strong communication skills (phone and email)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
Preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing, technical, or industrial environment
- Familiarity with ERP or order management systems (QuickBooks, Fishbowl)
