Customer Service Representative

About Us

PuroClean of Bloomington is a locally owned restoration company that helps homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, and property damage. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and professional Customer Service Representative / Job Administrator to join our in-office team.

This position is a key support role for our customers, office staff, project managers, technicians, insurance adjusters, and referral partners. The right person will be friendly, detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, and able to keep jobs moving through the administrative process.

Job Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will help manage customer communication and general job administration from the office.

Responsibilities include:

Answering incoming phone calls and providing professional customer service

Gathering job information from customers, insurance companies, adjusters, agents, and referral sources

Scheduling appointments, inspections, and follow-ups

Entering and updating job information in company systems

Assisting with job file setup and organization

Uploading and organizing photos, documents, estimates, invoices, and notes

Following up with customers, adjusters, and internal team members as needed

Helping track job progress and outstanding items

Assisting project managers and office staff with administrative tasks

Maintaining accurate records and clear communication

Supporting billing, documentation, and job closeout processes

Providing a positive and professional experience for customers during stressful situations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous customer service, office administration, dispatch, restoration, construction, insurance, or related experience preferred

Strong phone and communication skills

Good computer skills and ability to learn new software

Excellent organization and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment

Professional attitude and dependable work ethic

Ability to follow processes and document information accurately

Comfort working with customers who may be dealing with property damage or stressful situations

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is helpful but not required:

Restoration industry

Construction or service-based office administration

Insurance claims

Dispatching or scheduling

CRM/job management software

QuickBooks, Xactimate, Encircle, DASH, PSA, or similar systems

Work Environment

This is an in-office position. The employee will work from our Bloomington office and communicate regularly with customers, field staff, project managers, insurance representatives, and office leadership.
