Position Description:
SalSon Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our dedicated account operations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate order processing, proactive customer communication, dispatch coordination, reporting, billing support, and overall customer satisfaction.

Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for SalSon Logistics’ dedicated account. A successful CSR will build strong customer relationships based on trust, communication, responsiveness, and operational excellence.
This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capability to proactively resolve issues before they impact service.
Key Responsibilities

Order Entry & Load Management

Accurately input customer orders in a timely manner

Ensure all shipment information is complete and correct, including: Addresses, Contact information, PO numbers and reference numbers, Weight and piece counts, Special instructions, Truck-specific directions for shippers and consignees

Maintain accuracy within TMW and related systems

Ensure all loads are properly covered and dispatched

Dispatch & Customer Communication

Trace and monitor loads throughout the day

Proactively communicate service updates and exceptions to customers

Coordinate service issue communication with: Fleet Managers, Driver Managers, Customer
- Check drivers in from runs

Assist in maintaining service performance standards

Billing & Documentation
-
Utilize Bearware to support proper billing procedures
-
Create delivery receipts
-
Enter PODs (Proofs of Delivery)
-
Scan and maintain required documentation including: PODs, Driver logs, Reporting & Operational Tracking.

On-Time & Complete reporting

Cost-per-carton tracking

Scan compliance

Mileage tracking

Accessorial charge tracking

Fuel logs
-
Sign-on bonus tracking

On-time bonus tracking

Air freight reporting

Freight swinging reports

Trailer pool management

Yard checks
-
Billing discrepancy research

Customer Support & Coordination
-
Attend customer meetings impacting SalSon operations

Coordinate communications between customers and internal departments

Support additional operational functions as needed to maintain customer satisfaction
Qualifications
-
Previous transportation, logistics, dispatch, or customer service experience preferred

Experience within trucking or supply chain operations is a plus

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Experience with TMW, Bearware, or transportation management systems preferred

Strong follow-through and sense of urgency
