Customer Service Representative

We are currently looking to add a full-time 2nd shift Customer Service Representative who will deliver the exceptional service and support our customers have come to expect.

In this role, you will be a key part of the operations team-managing inbound service calls, making outbound calls to maintenance customers, and helping ensure every interaction is professional, efficient, and supportive.

This position follows a seasonal 2nd shift schedule: May through December, hours are 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and January through April, hours are 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a strong benefits package, including 100% coverage of the employee base medical and dental plan.

What You Will Do

  • Manage incoming customer calls, texts, and scheduling requests with professionalism and urgency.
  • Assess customer needs to determine whether the issue is an emergency outage or a standard repair request.
  • Dispatch the on-call service technician efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Complete invoicing, work orders, and ticket updates within 48 hours of service completion.
  • Track driver and technician progress using GPS and dispatch systems and proactively communicate to resolve delays or access issues.
  • Conduct outbound calls to maintenance customers to schedule covered service visits.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in customer service or a call center environment preferred; experience in field service industries such as HVAC, plumbing, or pest control is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Samsara and Jonas is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support customers calmly during urgent situations.
  • Availability and flexibility to work the noted 2nd shift seasonal schedule.
  • A positive, professional style that fits well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Motivated, adaptable, and able to stay composed as priorities shift.
