Customer Service Representative

OnTime Networks, LLC is looking for a positive and professional Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Latham, NY. In this role, you’ll be our customers’ inside point of contact, responsible for delivering a best in class customer support experience.

OnTime Networks, LLC is a small, US-based sales and marketing subsidiary of a Norwegian company, which manufactures and markets high quality routers, switches, and other electronic equipment. We are located in Latham, NY., and this position will work as needed in the office or remotely, as it is a hybrid work arrangement.

As our Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary interface between USA customers and our manufacturing operation in Norway. You will have regular communication with the Norway team and will be integral to the success of the company in the USA market. You will support customers by entering and fulfilling orders, monitoring shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring customer needs are met. In this small business, you will play a key role and wear several hats, including assisting with marketing efforts, website development, and social media presence. To be considered for this role, you will have a college degree in a business related field, though significant related experience may suffice. Such experience should be in an office environment in a sales support, customer service or logistics position. You will be comfortable engaging on the phone or over email with customers and suppliers, and managing multiple priorities. You will also be proficient in Microsoft365 products, including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and a willingness to learn to use other company software, including ERP software. You will also have experience in shipping, receiving and related processes, both domestically and internationally.

Additional preferred experience includes marketing / website development using WordPress or Woo Commerce, and familiarity with Federal Government Contracts (including FARS/DFARS Clauses).

Other requirements include having reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for prolonged periods, and travel locally. You must also successfully complete a full background check.
