Over the years, we've called the position many different names: customer service representative, bartender, host, etc. You would be working behind the bar and serving guests beer and assisting with food orders, including running food from our kitchen to our guests, but these are truly customer service / guest experience roles. We don’t do mixed drinks, so you only need to memorize which beer is on which tap. No prior restaurant/bar experience needed, but it is definitely helpful. Of course, you’ll have to learn about the beverages, the food menu, and our brand, but providing excellent service to people is 99% of the job.

We take great service extremely seriously. We don’t analyze how quickly any of our staff pours drinks, all we care about is how well they interact with customers.

Wild Acre is looking to hire part-time positions and the most help will be required on weekends. We need people that can work on average 20 hours per week. The hours will primarily be nights and weekends, with occasional help on weekdays. Those with consistent weekend availability are encouraged to apply.

Pay is $2.13 per hour plus tips. Including the base pay, the total compensation has averaged $27/hour so far in 2026. Although the concept is open year-round, pay can vary depending on the weather.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service
• Proficiency in using POS systems, including Square is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Excellent time management and collaboration skills, particularly in high-pressure environments
• Basic math skills for transactions
• Patience to provide excellent service to families and children
