Customer Service Representative – Entry Level - The Scottish Plumber | Villa Park, IL

The Scottish Plumber is one of Chicagoland's most trusted names in plumbing service, and we're looking for a sharp, personable Customer Service Representative to join our small but busy office team. This is a real job with real responsibility — not a glorified internship. You don't need to know what a P-trap is to thrive here. What matters is how you treat people.

What You'll Do

• Answer inbound calls and emails, help customers schedule service, and resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Follow up on estimates with outbound calls — you're not selling, just staying connected
• Assist with dispatching and day-to-day operations as needed
• Handle the occasional difficult customer with patience and a clear head

The Schedule

Full-time. Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm; Saturday, 7am–3pm. Your shift will fall within that window.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communicator — clear, calm, and easy to understand on the phone
• Good listener — you ask the right questions before jumping to conclusions
• Organized — you can juggle multiple things without dropping the ball
• Composed — difficult conversations don't rattle you
• Comfortable on a computer (Windows environment)
• Some customer service or phone experience preferred, but not required — we'll train the right person

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role is preferred; recent grads with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply
• Any plumbing or dispatching knowledge is a genuine bonus, but we're not expecting it

Paid training provided. Growth opportunities available for those who want them.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
